PLASTINDIA FOUNDATION is the Apex body of major Associations, Organisations, and Institutions connected with plastics, with common objectives to promote, the development of plastics industry and to assist the growth of plastics and related materials and their products. The FOUNDATION is dedicated to the national progress through plastics.
The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association – popularly known as AIPMA – Was founded by Industry visionaries 70 years ago making it the old & the largest Apex Body of the Plastic Industry in India, which has expanded and progressed by leaps and bounds in all fields of Plastics having Head Office in most prestigious, centrally located commercial localities in Mumbai, and Regional Offices in Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
Gujarat State Plastic Manufacturers Association (GSPMA) was established in 1970 and is an apex body of plastic manufacturers in the state of Gujarat. It is the leading Association in the State of Gujarat representing the Plastics Industry at State as well as Central level.
Indian Plastics Federation (IPF) was set up in 1958 with the objective of promoting the plastics industry in India and particularly in Eastern India. Regarded as a torch-bearer of plastics industry, its members include mega-projects like Reliance Industries Ltd., Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. etc. Large, small, medium and tiny sector units, dealers, distributors and machine manufacturers are also their members.
Indian Plastics Institute is a technical professional Body registered in April 1985 under the societies Registration Act 1860 and subsequently under the public trust act 1950. IPI was formally inaugurated on 6th May 1985 after taking over the Plastic and Rubber Institute, London (PRI) Indian Section (Plastics) as of 30th April 1985, which established in June 1963 as an Overseas Section of Plastic Institute, London.
National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), is an ISO 9001-2008 certified Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). NSIC has been working to fulfill its mission of promoting, aiding and fostering the growth of small industries and industry related micro, small and medium enterprises in the country. Over a period of five decades of transition, growth and development.
The Organization of Plastics Processors of india (OPPI) was established in 1984 to promote healthy growth of the plastics processing industry in India in the overall interests of the processors, consumers and society at large. As a representative leading body Organization of Plastics Processors of India. Presents members’ views in the proper perspective and creates a platform for interaction with the government for formulation of progressive policies and good manufacturing practices. Provides appropriate inputs to the industry to enhance quality, productivity, technology and workforce skills up-gradation.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last five decades. MSMEs not only play crucial role in providing large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries but also help in industrialization of rural & backward areas, thereby, reducing regional imbalances, assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth. MSMEs are complementary to large industries as ancillary units and this sector contributes enormously to the socio-economic development of the country.
